BIOGRAPHY

Prior to undertaking full time study for a degree in fine art at the National Art School, I attended regular short courses in painting and drawing at the Ku Ring Gai Arts Centre and the Sydney Art School over a 10-year period.

I enjoyed an extensive professional career in the planning, development and management of social infrastructure projects in diverse fields including health care and higher education. In a number of roles, I managed the delivery of large projects and facilities management teams. Examples of my experience include:
  • Redevelopments of Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals (including public art programs)
  • Management of the international design competition and selection of architects for the University of Sydney Campus 2010 redevelopment including the new Law School
  • Planning, design and development of the University of Newcastle’s New Space city campus
  • Development of art galleries including the Tin Sheds, University of Sydney, and Watt Space, University of Newcastle

My roles have included the management of public art programs associated with major hospital development projects.
